" Kharoll-Ann Souffrant, R.S.W., M.S.W. is a PhD Candidate in Social Work at the University of Ottawa. In 2020, she was a United Nation Fellow for People of African Descent. She specializes in the issue of sexual violence against Black women. She uses feminism, intersectionality, anti-racist, intercultural and structural approaches in her practice. She is frequently called upon to comment on her topics of expertise in the media. She is also an author, a columnist and a soon-to-be part-time lecturer at university."
